You have arrived at our hospital for a treatment – what happens next?
We receive our international patients in our International Patient Office (IPO).
You will need to bring these documents with you
- Passport
- Medical documentation as previously agreed upon with the IPO
Treatment Costs
You can pay the treatment costs either by bank transfer in advance or by Visa or MasterCard upon arrival at our IPO.
Personal guide
A personal guide will help you find your way around the hospital premises. This service is free of charge. The guide will meet you at the IPO and will gladly show you the way right to your hospital ward. Personal guides are available from Monday to Friday daily from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Additional Services
We will be happy to arrange an airport transfer or an interpreter on request.
Accommodation
In the University Medical Centre Mannheim you will be staying in hospital wards with a modern environment. The rooms are equipped with television and telephone.
Our Patient House offers comfortable single rooms and a modern hotel-like atmosphere. Its hotel flair gives you comfort, maximum flexibility and independence.
