The Institute of Clinical Chemistry at the University Medical Center Mannheim is the central provider of medical laboratory diagnostics at the UMM. The central laboratories offer a wide range of tests. Approximately 3.6 million analyses are performed annually in 12 laboratory divisions, most of which are available to the clinics 24/7.
We are involved in the training of medical students and medical technologists for laboratory analysis (MTL) and support scientific questions and clinical studies.
