Postdoc
I am a physician-scientist with a background in nephrology and currently work as a postdoctoral researcher. My previous research focused on the role of autophagy in proximal tubular cells, including its modulation by SGLT2 inhibitors and its contribution to ferroptotic cell death in diabetic kidney disease.
My current research focuses on the mechanisms of regulated cell death in acute kidney injury (AKI), with a particular focus on ferroptosis and necroptosis. By elucidating how these pathways drive kidney injury and repair, I aim to contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for patients with AKI.
