Informations- und Networkingevent mit dem Schwerpunkt Innovation und Industrie für junge Wissenschaftler*innen an der UMM
Die School of Translational Medicine, Dachorganisation für Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen an der Medizinischen Fakultät Mannheim, richtet im März die Industry and Innovation Days aus. Masterstudierende, Doktorand*innen sowie junge Postdocs und klinische Forscher*innen aus dem gesamten Spektrum der Gesundheitswissenschaften (Biowissenschaften, Medizintechnik, Psychologie, Medizin und mehr) sind eingeladen, sich mit lokalen Start-ups, Fachleuten aus der Industrie und anderen Bereichen auszutauschen und zu vernetzen. Neben spannenden Vorträgen, auch aus dem Bereich KI, Informationen zu Karriereperspektiven und Insiderinfos aus verschiedenen Berufsfeldern, gibt es Programmpunkte zum Präsentieren, Netzwerken und Bewerben.
Am Donnerstag um 14 Uhr beginnen die Teilnehmer mit Colin Bennetts (Flames a Mile High) Psychologie of Persuasive Presentations und lernen anschließend in der Science of Networking Session von Dr. Lenka Kyjacova (Molecular Health GmbH), wie sie ihr Netzwerk aufbauen können. Nachdem sie ihre neuen Networking-Fähigkeiten in der Pause in die Tat umgesetzt haben, gibt es Insider-Informationen aus dem Personalbereich von Dr. Kyjacova und einer HR-Expertin.

Information and networking event with the main focus on innovation and industry for young scientists at the UMM
The Industry & Innovation Days – organised by the School of Translational Medicine, the umbrella organization for young scientists at the Medical Faculty Mannheim - are dedicated to careers in industry and elsewhere as well as to networking. Master and PhD students as well as young postdocs and clinical researchers from the health science continuum (life science, medical technology, psychology, medicine and more) are invited to interact and network with local Start-ups, pharma industry professionals and professionals from other areas. In addition to exciting presentations, information on career perspectives and insider information from various professional fields, the agenda includes presenting, networking and job application strategies.
On Thursday at 2pm participants will start with Colin Bennett’s (Flames a Mile High) Psychology of Persuasive Presentations and then learn how to build their network in the Science of Networking session by Dr. Lenka Kyjacova (Molecular Health GmbH). After bringing their new networking skills into action during the break, there will be inside information from the hiring room by Dr. Kyjacova and an HR expert.
