Dear colleagues,

within the framework of the Lesser-Loewe-Symposium we cordially invite you to „PONS“ (Pathology: Opportunities for Newcomers in Science), the inaugural symposium of the new chair of pathology and pathological anatomy. We are looking forward to interesting conversations, a lively interdisciplinary exchange, and the development of sustainable cooperations!

Prof. Dr. Christoph Brochhausen-Delius

Director of the Institute of Pathology

Prof. Dr. Michael Neumaier

Director of Clinical Chemistry, Vice Dean,
Chairman Lesser-Loewe Foundation e.V.

PONS offers top-class lectures, workshops and interdisciplinary exchange

Modern pathology is undergoing a highly dynamic change: with digital and molecular techniques, pathology has become an integral partner in precision medicine.

At the interface of life- and engineering sciences, but also of modern information technology, this opens up innovative perspectives for a wide range of collaborations, including closer cooperation with all diagnostic disciplines in medicine.

With the help of high-calibre renowned experts we would like to demonstrate the innovative power of modern pathology and tissue analysis as well as biobanking in interaction with artificial intelligence.
